'Sleeping Dogs' gets PC features trailer - watch

By
Sleeping Dogs has received a new trailer from Square Enix.

The gameplay video features a chase across the docks of Hong Kong with new details about the game's PC version.

On PC, Sleeping Dogs will have mouse and keyboard controls in addition to a controller option and customisable Direct X 11 features to better optimise the game for each computer. It will also include a HD texture pack to provide enhanced visuals on PC.

Square Enix has also partnered with Valve to offer users who pre-order the game Sleeping Dogs-themed items in Team Fortress 2 and likewise various Valve-themed outfits to use in Sleeping Dogs.

Users who already own Just Cause 2 will also be able to unlock exclusive character outfits in the game.

Sleeping Dogs is an open-world action adventure that promises to show the darker side of Hong Kong.

Players will control Wei, an undercover cop who attempts to integrate himself into the city's criminal network.

Lee is joined by an all-star supporting cast that includes Tom Wilkinson, Lucy Liu, Emma Stone, Yunjin Kim and James Hong. MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre provides the fight moves.

The game's box art, meanwhile, features the work of innovative US artist Tyler Stout.

Developed by United Front Games, Sleeping Dogs will release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 14 in North America and August 17 in Europe. The PC version will be available exclusively as a download in North America, and will be available both for download and at retail across Europe.
