Valve's long-awaited sequel and the third core entry in BioWare's fantasy series appeared on a list of games to appear at the convention, but the accuracy of the information is yet to be confirmed.
The documentation, translated from German by NeoGAF, reads: "'Expected announcements gamescom 2012'. *Please take note of the sources: exhibitors, media, internet forums, blogs. *no responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information."
Valve is yet to confirm the existence of Half-Life 3. The company has released several episodic packs for Half-Life 2, with speculation suggesting that it has been working on Half-Life 2: Episode 3 for some time.
BioWare is also yet to confirm Dragon Age 3. The most recent addition to the series, Dragon Age 2, was released for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 in March last year.
