The publisher announced during its gamescom presentation that the sci-fi horror game will arrive on home platforms on February 5 in North America and February 8 in Europe.
Developed by Visceral Games, Dead Space 3 has a strong co-op focus with players able to drop in and out of online sessions at will.
A weapons-crafting mechanic will enable users to customise their arsenal by gathering raw material and tools to hone their guns according to personal preference.
The Dead Space 3 Limited Edition collection grants users first access to two game bundles - 'First Contact' and 'Witness the Truth', which include bonus weapons and special items.
