The firm's tablet devices will play host to exclusive gaming applications following an announcement at gamescom 2012 confirming their PlayStation certification.
Sony launched the service earlier this year as a means of bringing its gaming library to Android devices. The company previously confirmed plans to invest more resources into the endeavour over the next year.
The Xperia Play became the world's first PlayStation-certified smartphone when it was released in April 2011. Other first-party devices have since launched with PlayStation-certification, such as the Tablet S and Tablet P.
During Sony's gamescom presentation, where PlayStation Mobile was formally unveiled, it was confirmed that classic franchise Lemmings will be revived through the platform.
HTC was confirmed as a PlayStation Mobile partner at the E3 expo back in June.
