The siblings have teamed up with the gaming giant to advertise 3DS sequel New Super Mario Bros 2 with a video that sees them go head-to-head on the game.
New Super Mario Bros 2, a sequel to the 2006 DS hit, is the first 3DS title to be released simultaneously through digital and physical media. It is also the first Nintendo game for the platform to offer premium DLC.
"Teaming up with the Cruz sisters is a perfect fit for us. Not only because New Super Mario Bros 2 lets two players enjoy the entire adventure playing as brothers Mario and Luigi simultaneously but because these sisters have been genuine fans of the series for many years", said Nintendo marketing executive Laurent Fischer.
"The co-op mode really brought out their competitive side and they had a lot of fun trying to collect as many coins as possible while racing to finish each level first."
New Super Mario Bros 2 is released for 3DS on August 17 in Europe and August 19 in North America.
