Costing £11.99, the post-apocalyptic adventure will be available through Steam, Ubishop and other digital retailers on September 13.
The PC port will contain enhanced visuals, as well as two brand new game modes.
'Easy mode' will provide a "smoother introduction" to the I Am Alive experience by offering infinite retries. 'Replay mode', meanwhile, allows users to replay unlocked levels to discover secrets and hidden objects.
Pre-ordering the game unlocks fellow Ubisoft title Bloody Good Time for free.
Released across XBLA and PSN earlier this year, I Am Alive follows every-man Adam Collins in search of his wife and daughter after an unspecified cataclysmic 'Event'.
The environment itself has been designed to challenge the player, with thought-provoking choices to be made as part of the story.
