Sony has announced two new characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Joining the cast are Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid series and Evil Cole MacGrath from the Infamous games.
Raiden will feature his appearance from Metal Gear Solid 4 and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The Cyborg ninja specializes in close-range combat, and will even have a special attack using the right analogue stick for sword slashes as an homage to the gameplay in Metal Gear Rising.
Evil Cole MacGrath offers a more ruthless style than his non-evil counterpart, using both electricity and fire in ranged attacks for an offence-heavy fighting style.
The new characters bring the game's roster up to 18 fighters, including Ratchet, Sackboy, Jak, Fat Princess, Sly Cooper, Dante from Devil May Cry, Colonel Radec from Killzone, Parappa the Rapper, Kratos from God of War, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal and the Big Daddy from Bioshock.
Sony announced at gamescom 2012 that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will enable the Cross-Buy feature, giving users a free copy of the game on PlayStation 3 or Vita when purchased for the other system.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's release date was recently hit with a delay, and will now release on November 20 in North America and on November 23 in the UK.
