The patch allows users to access and play the PlayStation 3 games on their Vita systems through a Wi-Fi connection.

Both games will offer an alternate control scheme when played on Vita, enabling the rear touch pad to function as the R2 and L2 buttons as if it were a PS3 controller.
Sony's Shuhei Yoshida recently said that the remote play feature was coming to the games soon, but the announcement was presumed to wait until the Tokyo Game Show.
Instead, it turns out Sony is prepared to launch the update earlier, with the patch available for download today.
