Remember Me is a third-person action-adventure set in Neo-Paris in the year 2084, where memories and senses can be traded over a network run by a corporation called Memoreyes.
Players take on the role of a female 'memory hunter' named Nilin, who has had her memory stolen and must battle Memoreyes with the help of a residence group to claim it back.
Nilin has a number of unique moves at her disposal, including the ability to slow time to a crawl, steal people's memories and kill them via her Memory Overload technique - a power which causes enemies' memories to spill out of their head.
Memory Remix enables players to manipulate foes by tapping into their thoughts, and even alter their memories to influence them to commit suicide.
The game is an original property designed by French developer Dontnod Studio with former Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and Heavy Rain personnel overseeing the project.
Dontnod Studio first approached Sony to publish the title on PlayStation platforms, but Sony passed on the project.
Remember Me will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2013.
