Konami also detailed two UK-based pre-order incentives. Pre-order customers will receive a limited UEFA Champions League steelbook edition, which includes a DLC code to redeem the UEFA Champions League Match Balls, as well as "other official elements".

UK fans will also be able to pre-order the Manchester United-themed steelbook edition, which boasts the club's livery on its cover.

Wii, 3DS, PSP and PS2 versions will launch at a later date.

This year's instalment makes a number of changes, including FullControl for improved control options over every pass, shot and first touch.

Dribbling, meanwhile, has been slowed for the new game, giving players better close control of the ball, allowing them to hold it up within a 360-degree circle or nutmeg opposing players and run onto the loose ball.

The game contains a total of 150 licensed teams, including all of the teams from Brazil, Italy and Spain, as well as England, Germany, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
