Remastered by development studio Just Add Water, the HD remake comes with a wealth of improvements.
The game features 12 new Steam Achievements, improved controls, new difficulty levels and unlockable concept art and videos.
Users with the original Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath will receive the update for free.
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD is currently available for the discounted price of £5.69/$9.99 on Steam. Discounts run until Monday (September 17), after which it will be available for £7.99.
The game was released on the PlayStation Network earlier this year, complete with Move support.
