The Wii U Showcase Tour will hit shopping centres and industry exhibitions between September and January.
Kicking off at the Eurogamer Expo in September, the tour will give consumers the chance to sample the Wii U before its November launch.
In addition to sampling games such as Nintendo Land and ZombiU, fans will have the opportunity to participate in challenges and compete for prizes.
Nintendo will also showcase upcoming 3DS titles, including Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, as well as recent and upcoming Mario releases.
The Wii U will launch on November 18 in North America and November 30 in Europe with a basic model and Premium bundle.
The basic pack includes a white Wii U console with 8GB of memory, a Wii U gamepad, AC adapter and a HDMI cable.
The Premium set will offer the system in black with 32GB of memory, a copy of Nintendo Land, Wii U sensor bar, a gamepad charging cradle, stands for the gamepad and console and Nintendo Network Premium membership.
New Super Mario Bros Wii U was also confirmed as a launch title, alongside Rayman Legends, ZombiU and FIFA 13.
