'Rocksmith' trailer featuring Mikey Demus from Skindred - watch

By
Rocksmith has been given a new trailer by Ubisoft.

The latest Rocksmith video diary features Skindred guitarist Mikey Demus, who samples the 'Big Swing Baseball' mini-game, as well as a number of the title's songs.

After checking out Nirvana's 'In Bloom' and Stone Temple Pilots track 'Vaseline', Demus remarks that the game is able to teach users how to play real songs quickly.

The Skindred guitarist also believes that Rocksmith is a more fun way to learn guitar, praising the instant feedback.

He also complimented the game's left-hand support, before revealing that the band is about to start writing a fifth studio album.

Announced by Ubisoft last year, Rocksmith will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 28.

The UK release will feature an expanded tracklist, including the 45 tracks from the North American release plus additional content from more than 50 songs by artists including David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana and Muse.

It is already available in North America, where it can be purchased as part of a bundle with an Epiphone Les Paul Junior guitar.
