Announced earlier this year, the larger Circle Pad Pro attachment was unveiled on Nintendo's Japanese website. It is shown alongside the existing model below:

Scheduled for a Japanese launch later this year, the Circle Pad Pro XL is yet to be confirmed for a Western release.
The existing Circle Pad Pro, which is ideal for games such as Resident Evil Revelations and Kid Icarus: Uprising, is too small to attach to Nintendo's recently upgraded handheld.
The 3DS XL features an enhanced 4.88" top display and 4.18" lower display, giving players a total of 90% more screen space.
The battery, meanwhile, lasts between 3.5 to 6.5 hours when playing 3DS games and up to 10 hours when playing original DS software.
