'Morrowind' remade using 'Skyrim' engine - trailer, pictures

By
New images have been released of Morrowind being remade using the Skyrim engine.

The mod, titled Skywind, is being created by fans using the Skyrim creation tool. Images were posted on the Morrowblivion website by modder Eloth.
There are also plans to recreate Oblivion using the Skyrim engine. A video showcasing Oblivion's Imperial City can be seen below:

Morrowind was released for the PC and original Xbox in 2002.

Taking place on the island of Vvardenfell, the environment was much smaller than its predecessor and ditched the randomly-generated dungeons in favour of hand-crafted areas.

The title is also remembered for its unique look and architecture, as well as the ability to create new content and download expansions.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, meanwhile, was released for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November. It was named as the fastest-selling PC game on digital distribution service Steam.
