The videos, which are taken from pre-alpha code, showcase the Chicago street racing circuit, as well as the California Coast.
The Chicago circuit (above), features a selection of muscle cars and takes place in and around the tunnels and skyscrapers of the Windy City.
The second video (below) captures a point-to-point duel between a contemporary Boss Mustang and a classic Mustang Mach 1.
It takes place along a tight shoreline stretch of road in sunny California.
Announced earlier this year, GRID 2 is the follow-up to the BAFTA award-winning title released in 2008.
It has been described as a landmark title for publisher Codemasters in terms of technology, offering advancements developed in previous DiRT and F1 games.
Codemasters has said it will ignore the trend of escalating the numbers of tracks and cars seen in other racers, and instead will focus on making the most immersive on-track experience available.
