The 18-minute playthrough video shows off the game's new Contracts mode with commentary from game director Tore Blystad and IO Interactive community team member Travis Barbour.
Contracts is a new online mode for Hitman: Absolution letting players create and share custom hit challenges to compete against their friends.
The first new Hitman game in six years, Hitman: Absolution will include new gameplay features, improved enemy intelligence and a new 'Instinct' mode that will help players blend into certain roles.
Described as the most ambitious game in the series yet, the stealth title features a "living and breathing world, where every moment can become a story".
IO Interactive has told Digital Spy that Hitman: Absolution will have a "more personal story" than previous games.
Pre-order customers can also bag the Hitman Sniper Challenge mini-game, as well as the recently announced Hitman: Absolution Deluxe Professional Edition.
Hitman: Absolution will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC from November 20 worldwide.
