The latest Rocksmith video diary features Ben Parker from The Chain, who evaluates the game's teaching potential.
Sampling Radiohead's 'High and Dry', Eric Clapton's 'Run Back to Your Side' and a number of the game's extra activities, Parker believes that it could be a useful tool to encourage youngsters to play guitar.
Parker, whose band The Chain cover every new UK number one single, goes on to say that he's excited to see the kind of reaction Rocksmith receives, believing it will be a positive one.
Announced by Ubisoft last year, Rocksmith is out now for the Xbox 360 and PS3. A PC release will follow on October 16.
The UK version features an expanded tracklist, including the 45 tracks from the North American release plus additional content. In-game artists include David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana and Muse.
A number of add-on packs will be released over the coming months, including the Classic Rock DLC pack on October 18, followed by the Alternative Rock DLC pack on November 14 and the Metal DLC pack in December.
