The company had used its official Xbox Support (1-5) Twitter account to assure users on Thursday (October 4) that it was actively working to fix any errors.
"Some users may currently be experiencing issues with signing into Xbox LIVE. We're looking into this, thanks for your patience," a message from the Xbox Support (1-5) team read.
A broad section of users had taken to Twitter earlier in the day to complain that their service had been interrupted or terminated entirely, while some users had also claimed to have received Error Messages from the Xbox Live Support site.
However, the account later tweeted: "Xbox LIVE Service has been restored."
