The studio's first game for two years is a downloadable platform adventure exclusive to the PlayStation Network.
Players will assume control of a young boy with the ability to float through the air via self-created beams of light. The protagonist will have other special abilities at his disposal that will impact on the gameplay, but these are yet to be detailed.
"In [PIanet in Distress], you are given a strong and potent set of features to help you on your way. But this 'toolbox' doesn't change during the course of the game and the variation is instead created by challenging the player to use his arsenal in different and new ways," said Might and Delight's Jakob Tuchten.
"This helps to establish the sensation of being a survivor - a resourceful child, ready for anything."
Planet in Distress will be released through the PlayStation Network "soon".
