Charts ready to include digital downloads

The UK games charts are to undergo a major change after compiler ChartTrack revealed it plans to include data from downloads within the official UK games charts.
The move is seen as a reflection of how video games are predicted to move into the digital age, with the music industry already encompassing sales of single and album downloads.
ChartTrack's Dorian Bloch said, "We're some way off downloadable games becoming a big part of the business, but it's coming."
It is expected that PC charts will be the first included once retailers begin to offer games via their own websites.
But Bloch added, "Downloads via Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii present a tougher challenge as console publishers might not necessarily be forthcoming with it straight away."
