The team behind the stealth series has released part of an image depicting the lower half of a man's face.

The image is accompanied by the following statement: "We're getting ready to make a big announcement… Click 'LIKE' (and share, if you'd be so kind) to reveal more of the image!"
Speculation has linked the image to a possible Splinter Cell movie announcement, or a new feature for upcoming sequel Blacklist.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist was unveiled by Ubisoft during Microsoft's E3 press conference.
The game will feature Kinect integration on Xbox 360, allowing players to distract enemies and call for support using voice commands.
The plot will follow the events of Splinter Cell Conviction, as Sam Fisher must hunt down a mysterious terrorist organisation known as the Blacklist.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is currently confirmed for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next year. A Wii U version has also been rumoured, but remains unconfirmed by Ubisoft.
