Fable: The Journey's launch trailer explores the game's story, before demonstrating its Kinect-based gameplay.
The video also showcases the magic system and horseback riding, before briefly teasing some of the game's bosses and monsters.
First announced at E3 last year, Fable: The Journey sees players use Kinect to control Gabriel, a Dweller who embarks on an epic journey after becoming separated from his tribe.
The title will not feature melee combat or conventional weaponry, instead focusing on magic and spells, which are cast using hand gestures.
Fable: The Journey is available today (October 9) in North America and October 12 in Europe. A gameplay demo is available to download now.
