To coincide with the launch of the demo, Turn 10 Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes developer diary. The latest video explores the real world data that has been used to create Forza Horizon.
The Forza Horizon demo offers a section of the overall game map as well as several events, which will automatically become Rivals Mode events allowing players to play against one another by setting the fastest time.
Elsewhere, downloading the demo will provide players with an exclusive 2013 SRT Viper GTS to use in the final game.

Announced earlier this year, Forza Horizon is developed by Playground Games, a UK studio created by former DiRT, TOCA and Colin McRae developers, which Forza studio Turn 10 described as a "partner".
It follows the critically-acclaimed racing title Forza Motorsport 4, which was released for Xbox 360 last year.
Forza Horizon will be released exclusively for Xbox 360 on October 23.
