Activision has revealed the second mission of the game, named 'Celerium', which takes place in the game's near-future setting as players attempt to infiltrate an enemy base in Cuba.
Starting on a mountain several kilometres away, the operatives first use sticky nanogloves to navigate a steep cliff face.
It's followed by a controllable flying section using advanced wingsuits as the operatives glide along a valley to their destination.
At the base, it's revealed that sentries all have cloaking technology, which can be disabled using an EMP grenade.
After sweeping the base and disabling several helicopters, the operatives move underground, where they discover a lair underneath an ancient temple.
At this point the player can make use of the cloaking technology themselves before facing enemy robots.
Copyright: ActivisionAnnounced earlier this year, Black Ops 2 is set during a 21st-century Cold War and will release on November 13 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. A Wii U version will follow.
The game's campaign will feature usable drones and horses, as well as a robot enemy forced to fight in a devastated Los Angeles.
TranZit will be the primary zombie mode for Black Ops 2, adding context to the fight against the undead.
The mode will feature an expansive open world, which up to four players can explore either on foot or using the bus shown in the trailer below. The bus allows faster travel between locations, but can become difficult to escape from if overrun by zombies.
Activision teased the game mode with a "Welcome to Nuketown" road sign with the word "Zombies" scrawled in blood.
