The video appears to be test footage, and does not feature sound. However, it does offer an early look at the inside of a ship, the game's dynamic lighting and a laser gun in action.
0x10c is the next game being developed by the Minecraft studio, billed as an ambitious space exploration and trading game.
One of the game's most unique aspects is the ship's computer, which is a fully emulated 16-bit computer that players can manually programme to control all aspects of their ship.
The studio hopes to make it accessible even to players without programming experience. For example, users can trade in-game floppy discs to receive new code and algorithms for ship functions.
Mojang is also currently working on Scrolls, which settled its trademark dispute with Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series earlier this year.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition launched in May, and sold over 1 million copies in just five days.
