Far Cry 3 has been given a new trailer by Ubisoft.

The latest video introduces villain Hoyt the Tyrant, who is said to be behind the insanity and atrocities on the island.

The antagonist is seen executing civilians and employees and threatening witnesses with death.

The trailer also features gameplay footage, demonstrating some of the in-game vehicles, as well as a mission to put an end to Hoyt's tyranny.

Announced by Ubisoft last year, Far Cry 3 returns to the tropical setting made famous by the first Far Cry.

The game will feature a four-player co-operative mode, which takes place six months prior to the events of the single-player campaign.
A limited edition Far Cry 3: Insane Edition was recently announced, including the 'Monkey Business' single-player campaign, as well as four additional single and multiplayer packs.

Far Cry 3 will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 30.
