To celebrate Halloween, the studio revealed new gameplay footage featuring some of the new puzzles in the horror sequel, as well as a first encounter with an enemy.
Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is being co-developed by series developer Frictional Games and Dear Esther's The Chinese Room.
Set in 1899, it sees a wealthy industrialist return home after a disastrous trip in Mexico, and is haunted by dreams of a dark machine that has seemingly come to live.
The title is the successor to Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which was acclaimed for its psychological elements and atmospheric surroundings.
It won several awards in last year's Independent Game Festival, and is part of the latest Humble Indie Bundle.
Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs will be available on PC later this year.
