Original Story: Sony France has compared the PlayStation Vita to a lady with four breasts in a new advert.
The magazine advertising campaign, which was posted on Kotaku, features the profile of a lady with breasts on the front and back of her body, alongside the slogan: "Touch both sides. Twice the sensations."
The image represents the Vita's front touchscreen and rear touch panel, and is Sony's latest attempt to address lower-than-expected Vita sales.
Users have taken to Twitter blasting the advert, one saying that Sony has "time-slipped into the 1970s", while another branded it a "disgusting marketing campaign".
Earlier today it was revealed that Sony had lowered its annual handheld sales forecast from 16 million units to 10 million units.
Despite the forecast, Sony has managed to cut losses, largely thanks to a reduction in operating costs.
The firm recently promised a PlayStation Vita price reduction, but not until 2013.
The Vita's Christmas lineup includes Assassin's Creed: Liberation, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale and the recently launched LittleBigPlanet Vita.
