American Express cardholders can now sync their card to their Xbox Live account, earning a £10 ($10) credit from American Express and opening exclusive offers with select retailers through a new American Express tile on the Xbox 360 dashboard.
In the UK, synced cardholders can earn reward credit for shopping at Carphone Warehouse, Cineworld Cinemas, Dixons Travel and Topman. In the US, users will earn credit shopping with AMC Theaters and PacSun.
The partnership also extends to Halo 4, with additional offers available to users who unlock specific achievements in the upcoming game.
Completing one of Halo 4's Spartan Ops missions lets UK users earn £25 for spending £50 at Currys PC World, while US users can earn $50 for spending $100 at Best Buy.
Meanwhile, completing the single-player campaign on normal difficulty or harder earns a £25 ($25) credit from American Express.
The big reward though is for being one of the first players to complete the single-player campaign on the legendary difficulty, which earns a trip to E3 2013, including travel, hotel and entrance to the show.
American Express has offered similar offers for syncing its cards with Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare in the past.
Halo 4 launches worldwide on November 6 exclusively on Xbox 360.
