The game's November 6 launch will be supported by 350 midnight store openings across the UK, including 292 events at GAME.
Fans who attend the launch at GAME's flagship Westfield Stratford store will be able to get some hands-on time with the title, have their picture taken with Master Chief and a replica Warthog, win prizes and sample Halo 4-themed drinks and pizza.
The same event will also include appearances from members of the Halo 4 development team, as well as Jason Bradbury from The Gadget Show.
Earlier that evening, London will host a Halo 4 stunt down the River Thames from the Greenwich Peninsula to Tower Bridge. Fans are urged to get to Butlers Wharf, adjacent to the Design Museum, for 7.30pm at the latest.
Buses will be on hand after the stunt to shepherd a limited number of people from the event to GAME's Westfield Stratford store at 8.30pm.
Other events are planned in Seattle, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai and Sydney.
More than 10,000 retail locations in more than 40 countries are said to be opening at midnight, making it one of the biggest video game launches of all time.

Halo 4 is set four years after the events of Halo 3, marking the return of iconic hero Master Chief and representing the beginning of a brand new saga.
In addition to the single-player campaign, Halo 4 will feature a robust multiplayer offering through War Games, which will take place on the Spartan training ship Infinity and will tie into the game's story.
The game will include downloadable class specialisations for multiplayer, as well as a War Games Map Pass providing access to future DLC maps.
Named 'Best Shooter' and 'Best Multiplayer' during Digital Spy's Best of E3 2012 awards, Halo 4 will be available exclusively on Xbox 360 from November 6 worldwide.
