'Final Fantasy XII' tops all-formats chart
The Square-Enix epic Final Fantasy XII on PlayStation 2 has retained its position as the current best-selling game in Britain.

The acclaimed title, which was described in Digital Spy's review as a "serious contender for game of the year", has stayed at the top of the charts since its launch on February 23.

Quality games are riding high elsewhere in the all-formats chart this week with top Xbox 360 gangster game Crackdown staying at number two and The Sims 2: Seasons, which was this week's highest new entry, weighing in at number three.

Also racing up the charts this week is Sonic and the Secret Rings which was released last Friday on Nintendo Wii and entered the charts at number five.
