The video is specifically for the Wii U, highlighting the unique features that will be available in that version of the game.
The Wii U version will allow users to steer by tilting the Wii U GamePad, view a map of the course on the GamePad screen and use the screen as a rear-view mirror to track weapons.
There will also be exclusive multiplayer modes only available on Wii U, including the option to play with five people locally and ten players online.
The one feature missing from the Wii U version, as Sega recently confirmed, is there will be no online voice chat option.
Announced in April, the follow-up to 2010 racing title Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing will feature nearly 30 characters and lets players drive transforming vehicles.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be released on November 16 in Europe and November 18 in North America for Xbox 360 and PS3, while the Wii U version will be available when the system launches on November 18 in North America and November 30 in Europe.
A version for Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita is also on the way, and will release on December 11.
