Tiny Invaders developer Hogrocket has gone on "indefinite hiatus".

The studio has ceased operations 18 months after it rose from the ashes of Bizarre Creations, GI.biz reports.

Hogrocket was a joint venture between Peter Collier, Stephen Cakebread and Ben Ward, launched after Activision shuttered Bizarre Creations.

"Unfortunately Hogrocket is on indefinite hiatus and the three of us have all moved on to new things," Collier said. "This was due to a combination of factors, ranging from geographical to financial. It's sad but the three of us all learned a lot."

The firm, which opened its doors in March 2011, found success with iOS release Tiny Invaders.
