The latest Far Cry 3 trailer explores the game's map editor mode.
The video looks at the different items that can be used to populate maps, including caves, waterfalls, temples and abandoned World War II weaponry.
Players can also set the weather and change the time of day, before publishing them online for users to rate.
The trailer also demonstrates the single-player sandbox mode, which enables users to populate creations with wildlife, vehicles and enemies, before attempting to survive.
Announced by Ubisoft last year, Far Cry 3 returns to the tropical setting made famous by the first Far Cry.
The game will feature a four-player co-operative mode, which takes place six months prior to the events of the single-player campaign.
Far Cry 3 will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 30 in Europe and December 4 in North America.
