'Battlefield 3: Aftermath' launch trailer, Marketplace overview

Battlefield 3 'Aftermath' has been given two new trailers by Electronic Arts.

The 'Aftermath' pack is available to PS3 Premium members today, before going on general sale in December.



The launch trailer looks at the new maps and game modes introduced as part of the content pack.

The second 'Aftermath' DLC trailer focuses specifically on the Marketplace map.


Compared with maps found in competitive shooters such as Counter-Strike, Talah Market contains a variety of sniping positions and close-quarter combat zones.

The map, which encourages both team-play and individual pursuits of glory, also contains areas for stand-offs and mid-range encounters.

It is part of the upcoming 'Aftermath' DLC, which features four maps set in post-earthquake environments.

It follows September's 'Armored Kill' DLC, which introduced huge maps and new vehicles, and June's 'Close Quarters' expansion.

The final piece of Battlefield 3 content, called 'End Game', will launch next March.

All DLC will be included in the recently announced Battlefield 3: Premium Edition.

It includes the core game, a Battlefield Premium subscription with access to all DLC content, and a multiplayer welcome pack.

Beta testing for the recently confirmed sequel is available to users who pre-ordered the Limited Edition version of Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
