'Assassin's Creed 4' to add co-op, releasing 2013?

By
Assassin's Creed 4 could release as early as next year, according to a Ubisoft survey.

Ubisoft has reportedly sent out a questionnaire asking gamers whether they would buy an Assassin's Creed sequel in 2013, and how they would feel if it contained co-op play.
Participants are also quizzed on a potential setting, specifically whether they'd like to return to the American revolution era, and if Connor and Desmond should be involved.

Hinting at a possible new direction for the series, one question asks users to rate their experiences with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, reports The Gaming Liberty.

Assassin's Creed games have been released on an annual basis since the launch of Assassin's Creed 2.

Recent edition Assassin's Creed 3 takes place over a 30-year period in colonial America, beginning in 1777.

It was released alongside PlayStation Vita spinoff Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, which was announced at this year's E3 Gaming Expo.
