'Innovative' PS3 controller on its way
Published Wednesday, Mar 21 2007, 11:21 GMT | By David Gibbon

This traditional looking PC-style device features a right-hand mouse controller featuring a full set of PS3 buttons and can be used to shoot and look around the player's environment while enjoying a PC-style game.
The unit also features a left-hand programmable grip device and offers a full range of 6-axis motion sensing - similar to that of the Nintendo Wii and Sony's own Sixaxis gamepad.
SplitFish CEO Cisco Schipperheijn said, “For years, first person shooter players have had less than an optimum experience when playing on a console. SplitFish’s FragFX brings PC-like movement, precision and performance to the console FPS. The mouse in combination with the FragChuck is a huge advancement in pushing the limits of immersive game play.”
According to SplitFish, a 'limited number' of units will be available to UK consumers with both a wired and wireless Bluetooth version on sale.
