The firm's Soho studio is advertising to recruit a producer to work on a series of television shows using Xbox Live and Kinect.
"Soho Productions is pushing the boundaries of Kinect and Xbox Live to bring a new line of interactive television experiences to the world," the listing reads.
"Working with leading global entertainment partners, we are creating experiences that are not bound by the traditional definitions of television or gaming. Experiences where watching and participating are inseparable that will delight and enrich the lives of people everywhere."
Last month, it was reported that Microsoft is working on an Xbox-branded set top box that will launch next year and provide access to digital entertainment and casual games.
The firm is also rumoured to be opening up its Xbox Live service to third-party television companies as part of a licensing programme.
