Developed by Fallout New Vegas studio Obsidian Entertainment, South Park: The Stick of Truth features extensive input from the show's creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
The story sees a new kid arrive in South Park and take part in a live-action role playing game with the others that eventually becomes an adventure of its own.
It was previously revealed that customers who pre-order the game will receive special items and weapons based on the popular episode 'Good Times With Weapons'.
South Park: The Stick of Truth is expected to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC sometime between April and June next year.
