Napster, Sainsbury's and Karaoke are among the apps launching on Xbox 360 from today (December 11), it has been announced.
The Xbox 360 will welcome more than 40 apps in all territories between now and spring 2013, according to Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb.
Releasing globally, the recently-announced Karaoke app
features 8,000 different songs, which can be streamed in 2-hour, 6-hour and 24-hour blocks.
The app supports Xbox 360 Headsets, Xbox Wireless Microphones and Xbox 360 compatible USB microphones, and also features Smartglass support, granting users the ability to cue up songs, change the pitch and tone, and enable supporting vocals.
Microsoft's SkyDrive app also launches in all regions, enabling users to chance to view photographs from television sets through the Xbox 360.
The UK, meanwhile, welcomes the launch of music streaming service Napster, Livesport.tv, Sainsbury's, IndieFlix and Fightbox.
North America, on the other hand, will receive Maxim, MTV, PopcornFlix, TBS and Vimeo, among others.
Apps will begin to be rolled out from today, although users are encouraged to be patient due to the high volume of new releases.
