No fewer than nine titles in the top 20 are PlayStation 3 launch games, with Resistance: Fall of Man standing at number one and MotorStorm driving up to second place.
Other PS3 titles include Virtua Tennis 3 (4), Formula One Championship Edition (6), Ridge Racer 7 (10), Def Jam: Icon (11), Virtua Fighter 5, Fight Night Round 3 (14) and Genji: Days of the Blade (15).
A spokesperson for high-street chain Woolworths said, "The PlayStation 3 has certainly made an impact on game sales in our stores. MotorStorm has been doing particularly well for us during the past few days."
