Xbox game receives critical acclaim

The latest edition of the magazine features an extensive five page review of Activision's music simulation Guitar Hero II and awarded it 10/10 - the first game to receive such an accolade in 24 issues.
The review was written by guitar expert Luke Albigés, who has also 'performed' the original game at a busking session at Leicester Square Underground Station.
Stu Taylor, Group Editor, Uncooked Media said, “When we launched, we agreed that no game was ever likely to score a 10 so early on in the Xbox 360’s life – it takes a good year or two for developers to realise the potential of any console. However, as Luke Albigés says in his review: ‘Guitar Hero II is a supremely empowering example of why we started playing games in the first place and, as such, can be seen as an essential purchase for anyone that likes music, games and common sense decisions’.”
Leo Tan, Senior PR Executive, Activision European Publishing said, “We're overjoyed with the result. We feel that Guitar Hero II on the Xbox 360 is the ultimate version, with its online leaderboards and the potential for the series to grow through Xbox Live's excellent Live Marketplace, and this score really backs that up.”
