Guild Wars 2 has announced the Wintersday event coming to the game world of Tyria.
The Wintersday event will begin on December 14 with new holiday themed mini-games, presents falling from the sky and decorations in Lion's Arch.
From December 15 through 19, Tixx the toymaker will appear in a different city each day, travelling from The Grove to Divinity's Reach, Black Citadel, Hoelbrak and Rata Sum delivering a unique toy for each race.
On December 20, Tixx will arrive in Lion's Arch for the Wintersday festival, handing out gifts to every player who visits him. Players will also be able to participate in the toypocalypse event, where they must defend Tixx's toymaking machine from toys that have gone haywire.
The Wintersday festival will run until January 3 and is available to all Guild Wars 2 users.
