The limited edition includes 'Ranger Mode', a fan-favourite DLC feature from the first game that offered a more realistic experience with increased bullet damage and the removal of crosshairs for aiming.

It also features the ranger loadout, giving players the AKS-74U modified Russian rifle and additional military grade ammo at the start of the game to use in weapons and as currency.

On PlayStation 3, users will also be able to pre-order Metro: Last Light as a download through PSN, which will include the limited edition extras as well as a downloadable copy of Homefront and a Metro: Last Light dashboard theme.

Metro: Last Light will see the return of the original's bullet currency system, but made clearer and easier to use.

While it was announced with multiplayer, it has since been scrapped for the finished product to concentrate on the main campaign.

Metro: Last Light developer 4A Games recently branded the Wii U's processor as "horrible" and "slow".

Metro: Last Light will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and was recently delayed until March 2013.
