Announced earlier this year, Total War: Rome 2 will enable players to forge empires, restore the Republic, or become a hated tyrant out for self-gratification.
The game is said to be a completely scalable experience, allowing users to play the title regardless of their PC specifications.
It is scheduled for a 2013 release exclusively on the PC.
The original Rome: Total War released for the PC in 2004.
The game was extremely well received by critics, winning numerous awards during its debut year.
Fellow Total War releases, such as Napoleon: Total War and Empire: Total War, have also proved popular.
