BioShock Infinite's 'unique ending is like nothing you've seen before'

BioShock Infinite's ending has been hyped by Irrational Games studio head Ken Levine.

The ending to the upcoming BioShock sequel is like "nothing you've actually experienced in a video game before", Levine told Outside Xbox.

"The plot actually gets more interesting as it goes on," Levine explained.

"The end of the game, I can't tell whether people will like it or not like it. I can say it's something we're incredibly proud of. It's like nothing you've actually experienced in a video game before.

"It's unique and quite particular to this world, these characters and this franchise."

Levine also said that Mature-rated games shouldn't be afraid to tackle adult themes and issues, and that shying away from serious content could prove harmful to the industry.

BioShock Infinite was originally slated for release in October 2012, but has run into several delays and will now land on March 26, 2013.

The game will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
