Humble Indie Bundle 7 adds 'Basement Collection', 'Cave Story+'

By
The Humble Indie Bundle 7 has added three new games to the 'pay what you want' package.

Users who pay over the average bundle price will now also receive Offspring Fling, Cave Story+ and The Basement Collection which contains eight early games by The Binding of Isaac developer Edmund McMillen. The soundtrack for each game is also included in the bundle.

The three new games are in addition to the original bundle, which included The Binding of Isaac and its 'Wrath of the Lamb' DLC, Snapshot, Closure, Shank 2, Legend of Grimrock, Dungeon Defenders and the film Indie Game: The Movie.

Each game is available for PC, Mac and Linux, with users receiving a DRM-free download on their preferred system. The exception is Shank 2 as the Mac version is still in beta, but will be available to bundle purchasers when it is finished.

As with past Humble Indie Bundles, users have the option to pay what they want, and they can choose how the money is distributed between developers and charities. Users who pay at least $1 (62p) will receive a Steam download code for the bundle in addition to the DRM-free versions.

The last Humble Bundle eschewed indie games for the Humble THQ Bundle, which offered nine of the publisher's games in a pay what you want package.

The Humble Indie Bundle 7 will be available through to January 2, 2013.
