'Aliens: Colonial Marines' story trailer unveiled - watch

By
Aliens: Colonial Marines has received a new trailer from Sega.

The latest trailer focuses on the game's story, as a group of colonial marines are sent to investigate the USS Sulaco, the ship that ferried Ellen Ripley and co on that fateful mission to the planet LV-426.

Originally scheduled for 2012, Aliens: Colonial Marines was delayed earlier this year.

Set 11 months after the events of the second movie, it will see marines crash-land on LV-426 and attempt to survive against the Xenomorph population.

It features a campaign that can be played in single-player or co-operatively by up to four players and enemies brand new to the Alien canon.

A collector's edition will also launch alongside the game, featuring a high-quality resin power loader figurine, a USCM dossier booklet and a host of in-game content usable in multiplayer.

Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available on February 12, 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A Wii U version has also been confirmed for the first quarter of 2013, and will receive an exact date closer to its release.
