Publisher confirms 'Mr.Bean' game

The game, in development for PlayStation 2, will be made up of 3D levels where the star has to avoid traps and work on some problem solving along the way to find his missing Teddy with the help of his girlfriend Irma Gobb.
According to Film Audience Research, 92% of children under 11 are great Mr.Bean fans and 67% of children under 11 watch the TV series regularly and the game will be developed to specifically target this younger audience.
Sean Brennan, MD Blast! Entertainment, said "It is very gratifying to have secured Mr.Bean in our continuing efforts to sign up high profile movie, TV and cartoon licenses to create games aimed at kids and families, with the overall mission to provide a publishing platform to bridge the gap between mainstream children's film and TV to interactive entertainment."
Executive Producer, Katherine Senior of programme maker Tiger Aspect Productions, added, "Mr.Bean is an enormously strong worldwide property and bringing the character to an interactive format is a natural progression for the brand. We feel Blast! is the perfect partner to bring Mr.Bean to a totally new level"
No release date has yet been announced.
